Bechtle is a European digital services company specializing in IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions. On assignment for its client Hospice général de Genève, I joined an infrastructure team responsible for maintaining and evolving the organization's IT environments.

Hospice général is a public institution in Geneva that supports people in situations of hardship and carries out various social missions. Its information system requires secure, reliable infrastructure adapted to the needs of a large number of users.

Mission

Temporarily joined an eight-person infrastructure team to cover for a Citrix architect. Contributed to the administration and evolution of the Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops platform in a production environment.

Supported the team in evolving the Citrix farm, notably in preparing a Long Term Service Release (LTSR) version upgrade, and in evaluating new user profile management solutions with FSLogix.
